How Much Do Roller Blinds Cost in Bali?

Honest IDR price ranges per window and what really moves the number up or down.

It's the first question almost every client asks me, and the honest answer is "it depends โ€” but here are the real numbers." Roller blinds in Bali run anywhere from a few hundred thousand rupiah for a simple manual blind to well over a million for a motorised blackout system. Below are the guide ranges we quote in 2026, per window, supply and install โ€” and, more usefully, what actually drives the price within each range.

Price Ranges by Blind Type

All figures are per window, including supply and installation. The free measurement confirms exact pricing for your sizes.

What Actually Drives the Price

Window Size

Pricing is broadly per window, but a 3-metre-wide living room window costs more than a small bathroom window โ€” more fabric, a heavier tube and sometimes a larger motor. Very wide windows may need an intermediate bracket.

Fabric & System

A plain screen fabric is the cheapest; blackout with side channels and a cassette headrail costs more because there are more components. Special-order colours add to both price and lead time.

Motorisation

The biggest single price jump. A motor, transformer and remote add roughly IDR 600,000โ€“900,000 per blind over manual; WiFi and smart-home motors more. See motorised vs manual for where it's worth it.

Location & Hardware

Coastal installations need marine-grade stainless hardware, a modest premium that roughly triples service life near the sea. Outdoor and exposed positions also need wind-rated guides and higher-IP motors.

Whole-Villa Budgeting

To plan a full villa, it helps to think in windows. A typical two-bedroom villa might have 8โ€“12 windows. Fitted with quality manual blinds โ€” blackout in the bedrooms, screen fabric in the living areas โ€” you're often looking at roughly IDR 4โ€“7 million in total. The same villa fully motorised can run IDR 12โ€“20 million or more. That's why we usually suggest the hybrid approach: motorise the handful of windows you use daily or can't easily reach, and keep good manual blinds elsewhere. You get most of the convenience for a fraction of the cost.

Why the Measurement Is Free

No reputable installer can give you a firm price without measuring, because the number genuinely depends on your exact sizes, reveals and fabric choices. We measure on-site at no charge and bring samples so you can choose in your own light, then give you a written, itemised quote with no obligation. That way the price you see is the price you pay โ€” no vague "starting from" figures that balloon at installation. If you'd like a quote for your villa, just send us your location and rough window count on WhatsApp.

One last tip on value: spend where it counts. A slightly better blackout fabric and proper side channels in a bedroom you sleep in every night is money well spent; an expensive motor on a storeroom window rarely is. We'll always point you toward the choices that make a real difference for your rooms and let you skip the ones that don't โ€” which usually means a better result for a lower total than a one-size-fits-all quote.
